TS KGBV Eligibility Criteria

• In Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs), only female candidates are eligible for the positions of Special Officers, Contract Resident Teachers (CRTs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs), and Post Graduate Contract Resident Teachers (PGCRTs).

• For Urban Residential Schools, candidates of all genders are eligible for the positions of Special Officers and CRTs.

• Individuals with disabilities are not eligible for the role of Physical Education Teacher (PET).

• Educational qualification, age limit, etc. for TS KGBV Recruitment are as follows:-

2. Special Officer	Post Graduate Degree with a minimum of 50% marks is required. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. qualification is necessary. Candidates are required to successfully clear Paper II of either the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET), Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
3. CRT	Candidates should have a Graduate or Post Graduate Degree. Alternatively, they can possess a 4-year B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Passing Paper II of the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET), Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is also a mandatory requirement.
4. Physical Education Teacher (PET)	Candidates should have completed Intermediate (or equivalent qualification). They should possess either a Certificate/Undergraduate Diploma in Physical Education/Diploma in Physical Education or Alternatively, they can have a Bachelor’s Degree along with a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) qualification.
