The rise in usage of computerized financial accounting programs has revolutionized the accounting procedures and practices. Today, more and more businesses from the smallest home office to the largest multi-national enterprise, business owners and managers use accounting software to help run their businesses.

The Computerized Financial Accounting course is designed to equip student with the key skills and knowledge required to meet the demands of implementing and using new technologies and systems in a modern accounting environment. The course aims to impart comprehensive training that prepares students to work in today's business environment.

On successful completion of the course students will be able to combine their understanding of information systems and accounting in a business setting to manage a company's/ business's financial data through computer.

The Course will be of 30 credits. Each credit will have 15 hours of workload out of which 10 credits are assigned to field work / project work / training. Certificate will be awarded on the basis of examination results and credits earned.
