Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

From the year1964 college is offering the education in Humanities and Social Sciences subjects of arts. From last decade education has also started in other subjects. For last few years education in Sanskrit and Philosophy subjects has also been started. For the satisfaction of academic interest and for career development in teaching and research work or to get jobs in administrative and other Government Services the B.A. degree is a good course. Eligibility Criteria- 10+2 / Inter passed, Arts/Science/Commerce students who have secured 48% marks are eligible for admission. If seats remain empty General students who have got 45% marks will also be given admission with permission of the state Government. SC/ST and O.B.C. students are eligible for admission on minimum passing marks. Admission will be purely on the merit basis Reservation for SC/ST/O.B.C. will be according to the state Government rules.

Subject Offered-
  • First Year Arts
    • Compulsory Subjects:
      1. General Hindi or General English
      2. Environment Studies
    • Optional Subjects: Students are required to select three subjects from these and only one subject can be selected from one group.
      1. Group-1 : Economics / Sanskrit Literature
      2. Group-2 : Geology / Philosophy
      3. Group-3 : Political Science / Population Studies
      4. Group-4 : History
      5. Group-5 : Public Administration / Hindi Literature / Rural Development and Extension
      6. Group-6 : Social Studies / English Literature / Maths
    • NOTE :
      1. More than two practical subjects are not allowed.
      2. More than two Literature subject are not allowed.
  • Second and Third year Arts: Elementary computer education is a compulsory subject.Three optional subjects are required to select in first year.
  • Post Graduate Course (M.A.)

    2. Eligibility Criteria : Graduate (10+2+3) level with minimum 48% marks or 55% marks in required subject of P.G. For SC/ST/OBC students admission is available on minimum passing marks
    3. Admission : Admission in M.A. previous is given according to the merit.
    4. Reservation : S.C./S.T./O.B.C. reservation according to the state Government rules.
